It went to Gerald Filipelli's "Flared
bowl"
It was deemed the piece best representing use of Hawaiian grown
alternative woods.
One was determined by the exhibiting artisans: Artist's choice. The Clear winner was "Vanity and stool" by Bill Anderson, 9 votes , seconded by "Koa sunburst #4" by Mats Fogelvik, 4 votes and third was "Graceful Pursuit" by Guus Mauri, three votes
One was determined by the public: People's choice. Again, the clear winner was "Vanity and stool" by Bill Anderson, 57 votes, seconded by "Koa sunburst #4" by Mats Fogelvik, 18 votes and third was "Graceful Pursuit" by Guus Mauri, 14 votes.
It seems like the Artists and the People are in agreement this year!!
