Thomas Calhoun, born and reared in Hawai'i, is constantly inspired by the mountains and oceans of his native land. His "Pacific Nouveau" style exhibits influences of Polynesian, Oriental, and Western cultures. Quality, elegance, and esthetics are ideals expressed in the creations of this masterful woodworker. Complex joinery, fine carving, inlay, and veneer work display his passion for detailed craftsmanship. His award winning work has been consistently exhibited in statewide woodworking and juried fine arts shows.
